Why has the Murdoverse been created‽

This universe was created, in part, so that Murdoch could better understand others—an alterocentric exercise in which his various personas take on avowed characteristics that differ from (or exaggerate) those of the original Murdoch. It’s part self-reflection, part method acting, and part practical branding: “Murdoch Maxwell” sounds suitably literary with its alliteration; “42Mur” is a convenient, low-working-memory handle for Twitch viewers (and an unapologetic riff on 39daph); and “MoribundMurdoch” was the seed for my educational theorist experiment, the Moribund Institute. Ultimately, the Murdoverse is a navel-gazing yet sincere autological venture—an open-source attempt to study Murdoch, track all things Murdochian, and refine this ridiculous human through recursive documentation. P.S. One day, this daft Murdoch hopes to beat Rupert Murdoch in the Google search rankings.
